Position Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Cloud Architect to join our team and lead the
design and implementation of our cloud infrastructure. The successful candidate will
collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the Chief Cloud Architect, Product Team,
and development teams.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
- Develop and maintain robust, secure, and scalable network architecture for remittance
services.
- Identify gaps and propose solutions to enhance CI/CD processes, network architecture,
and technical delivery.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code standards and best practices.
- Write detailed technical specifications and solve complex technical problems related to
backend .NET development and remittance services.
- Design and implement serverless architectures using AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure for the
remittance platform.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of company cloud practices.
- Make critical design and technical decisions for backend .NET applications and
remittance services.
- Develop and lead the cloud architect team, providing mentorship and guidance to junior
developers.
- Liaise with multiple departments to ensure seamless technical delivery and integration.
- Report directly to the Head of Cloud Development and CEO on project progress and
technical challenges.
Requirements
- 5+ Experience making technical design decisions involving the use of cloud computing
services for CI/CD and network Architecture. With Preference for AWS-related
technologies.
- Experience with the Fintech Industry is an added advantage.
- Experience with enterprise-level applications is required.
- Experience with Serverless Architecture shall be a bigger advantage.
- Proven Adaptability and Quick Learner.
- Ability to simplify complex ideas and communicate them in writing with clear and logical
thinking.
- Experience working with teams and clients in Multiple Time zones and cultures.
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, and
CloudFormation.
- Strong understanding of network architecture and security best practices.
- Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with compliance standards relevant to the fintech industry.
